Apple will hold a special event for its Watch in March where it will also release iOS 8.2 software update and the MacBook Air, BGR Classic reports. The update is set to bring bug fixes and improvements, as well as support for Apple Watch.
The iOS 8.2 update beta 5 was released to developers yesterday. Given the number of beta versions the company has released for this point update, it was expected that the iOS 8.2 will be released to the public in within next few days.
The Cupertino-based company will also be announcing the launch date of Apple Watch at the event. It is also likely to take the wraps off the long-rumored 12-inch MacBook Air at the event.
From what we’ve heard so far, the 12-inch MacBook Air will have its keyboard stretched to nearly the entire width, with an ever so bigger trackpad. Additionally, the MacBook will only come with a USB Type C port, and no USB 3.0 or 2.0 ports. This could annoy a lot of people as the Type C port doesn’t offer backward compatibility to older USB-connected gadgets — which includes all the current and old generation iPad, iPhone, and iPod.
Last month at its record-setting earnings and shipment announcement, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook noted that the company will be selling its first wearable Apple Watch in April.
